The Beer Advertising Museum

Near the center of Breda ( the Netherlands), Haagweg 375, you will find our Beer-Advertising-Museum.
This museum shows a permanent exhibition of mainly enamel signs (+/- 1000 pieces) and antique posters of old beer adverts. It is said to be the largest collection in The Netherlands or perhaps in Europe.
Enamel signs, posters, an old lorry, brewery machines, but also neon lights, glasses, beer labels, ash-trays, and beer mats are being shown; all dated in the period from approximately 1900 till 1960. During the '60 the way of advertising changed enormously!!
Furthermore a very beautiful old tap and an old pub furniture will draw your attention. Most museumitems originally come from countries such as Belgium, (Northern)France, Germany, Ireland, Great-Britain and of course The Netherlands.The museum counts several floors full of antique 'stuff'.
You are very welcome to visit us on Sundays between 11hrs in the morning and 23 hrs in the evening. For groups (20 people or more) you may contact us to arrange a visit on any other day of the week. It is also possible to have a (or several different) beer(s). We offer 35 different brands (also soft drinks and wine are available). This all is being served in the old fashioned café- interior.
The entrance is free!
During the summer months you can enjoy your drinks in our special, cosy beer garden.
Once or twice a month we have live-folkmusic on Sunday afternoons. They all start around 17:00hrs and for our dates of music just click here. There are several photos and pictures all over this site.
